Currently, there are two international airports in Taiwan: CKS International Airport in Taoyuan
(about 40 kilometers from Taipei) and Kaohsiung International Airport in Xiao Gang. Taiwan has direct air links with some major countries in the world, providing pretty convenient international air transportation for travelers home and abroad. Other than some direct flights from Hong Kong and Southeast Asia arrive at Kaohsiung International Airport, most nternational flights take off and land at CKS International Airport.
